MICHAEL
HETELSON.
Entrepreneur, marketer, and former pro sports owner—where brand building meets the appetite for a bigger bet.
Initiate Contact01 // The Thesis
An entrepreneur who buys the team, then builds the audience.
Founder and owner of Emergent Technology Group (ETG), a full-service marketing agency serving leading names in the entertainment and pharmaceutical industries. Cornell University graduate.
In 2004 I acquired the MISL St. Louis Steamers and served as President and CEO — moving the franchise downtown to the Savvis Center, rebuilding the brand, and signing the fourth woman ever to play professional indoor soccer.
I also created and executive produced “Red Card”, a team-based reality series broadcast on WB11-KPLR that followed the club from tryouts to opening night, filmed from Paris to Hawaii and across the United States.
